OUR TEACHERS

  • Sharon Smith (Owner)

After a lifelong battle with back issues, Sharon's yoga journey began in 2011 after a flare-up that left her flat on her back and unable to move. The doctor prescribed physical therapy and only two forms of activity...walking and yoga. But, after consistently practicing, she started noticing changes in her body and mental well-being.

Sharon says, "Yoga changed my life in so many ways, and that is why I wanted to share the benefits with others."

Sharon completed her 200-hour teacher training in 2014 and, after years of assisting yoga classes, started to teach in 2015.

Most recently, Sharon was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, and thanks to yoga, she was so in tune with her body that she was able to seek treatment right away. Sharon says, "Yoga has changed my life in so many ways. It has taught me the importance of balance in every aspect of my life. Without Yoga, I'm not sure where I would be today.

In addition to her 200-hour training, Sharon is a certified Yin Yoga and Deep Stretch teacher.
