STUDIO ETIQUETTE
We want our studio to be where students can unplug and immerse themselves in yoga.
Here are a few reminders:
Arrive early: We recommend arriving 10 minutes before class to sign in and set up your mats and props. If you’re running late, quietly find a spot near the door so you don’t distract the other students. All classes close 5 Minutes after the start time.
Take off your shoes: Yoga is meant to be done on your bare feet. Please leave your shoes in the space provided.
Unplug and disconnect: For your and other students’ focus, turn off your phone before entering the yoga room. If you are expecting an emergency call, inform your teacher before class and set your phone to vibrate.
Use a tissue: We often offer eye pillows in Savasana (final relaxation); place the tissue between your eyes and the pillow to protect those peepers and keep things sanitary.
Be aware of the space: We have marked our studio floors to ensure that students are staggered throughout the room and that there is enough space between mats. Please place your mats on the marked spots in our room.
Clean your props: We have cleaning wipes for blocks, straps, hand weights, and Pilates balls. We ask our students who use the studio props to please clean them at the end of class and put them away neatly, which saves teachers lots of time.
Photograph and Video: Our yoga studio is a sacred space. To protect our students' and teachers' privacy and honor the space, we ask that all students refrain from photographing and videotaping unless permission has been given by their fellow students and teachers.
